Join us for a 50 Year Anniversary Talk Series, May 24 through June 30, a new series of talks on issues impacting artists today.
Our first discussion will be with Derek Fordjour, Shaun Leonardo, and Dread Scott, three NYFA artists who have challenged our conception of art.
The second discussion, titled Artists in Uncertain Times, will feature Luc Sante, Greg Pardlo, Kathleen Chalfant, and Saïd Sayrafiezadeh.
Then join us in late June as we sit in on Julie Taymor and Mira Nair discussing their experiences breaking into the film industry, and watch a full showing of Swoon’s Cicada stop animation.
